COOL PEOPLE'S COOL BIKES
I just saw Virgil Abloh post a picture of his Cannondale road bike. It was cool I guess. But it got me thinking, there's been a history of cool people having cool bikes. I thought I'd quickly jog through a few for you just to remind us that bikes can tell great stories. Back in 2005 Future designed a suite of icons for Lance Armstrong's Tour de France time trial bike. I loved this collab. Tour de France is such an iconic event, Lance was a beast during this era and Futura is a legend.
PHARRELL X BROOKLYN MACHINE WORKS AND ELEMENT SKATEBOARDS
I think Pharrell owns part of Brooklyn Machine works and he was doing all kinds of releases and photos with them for a bit. This bike is pretty rad and I'm guessing pretty hard to find at this point.
GOLF WANG X SE BIKES
Tyler stays on a BMX so it was only a matter of time until he had a bike collab. Read more about this 2019 drop below.
Ok, so this is a $25,000 BMX Bike. What kind of lock do you use for it?
THE ORIGINAL BIKE COLLAB SMASHES ALL BIKE COLLABS TO DATE, CHANGE MY MIND.
The E.T. x Kuwahara BMX. The bike Elliot rode and literally launched into orbit in the movie was available to cop and they even ran ads for thee bike in BMX Magazine.
OTHER NOTABLE BIKE COLLAB MENTIONS:
Sunday X Baker Skateboards
T-Lab X Burton
OPEN X Yeti
BEEPLE'S SHORT FILMS
Somehow I've slept on these. The Run The Jewels video is woke science and his other pieces are woke education. If you've slept on this harder than I have, go watch them right after finding the easter egg in this issue.
Akon is building the future in Africa. A smart city with residential, commercial, media center, sports, healthcare and education. A utopia if you will. Akon let's collab on the city workers unis!
I found this ironic. ASAP Rocky is now an investor in Klarna, the pay it later app. Here's the kicker, they are from Sweden. Isn't that a place and people he'd never want to deal with again for the rest of his life?!
Back in 2017, we made two amazing campers that summer. If you copped one, there's a good chance you still have it and it might even still be in the rotation. Or at least in rotation every summer.

This issue explores co-working in an eco village in Costa Rica, a bit of back story on our NFT platform, StockX skate team, Nyjah's new board company and when in the hell are we all going to Lambo?
Issue 10 is here and we have a pretty major announcement. We're not quite full-blown press release status yet so you're getting an early heads-up on how we're about to become the world's first Decentralized Streetwear brand. All of us at Official® are firm believers that we can all make the world a better place through decentralization. We can sit around and wait for things to change or we can just begin doing it ourselves.
