We had a last minute opportunity to show at Magic this year in the S.L.A.T.E section. As always it was a really dope experience and a very successful show. It’s always nice to see the homies and show a collection. We showed our Fall/Winter collection with a street date of October 15th so you’ll see some previews below. Ctothejl has a really good preview of some of the headwear and our cut and sew tees, you can view it here.
My youngest daughter had her first birthday right before we headed out. Her birthday is August 28th so we had to celebrate a couple days earlier, isn’t she gorgeous?
A 9-10 hour drive to Vegas requires the healthiest of necessities…
The show had a really clean aesthetic, very open and lots of earth tones.
We showed in the Untitled exhibit, ran by Magseven. It is a touring exhibition in Europe where they choose a theme, high profile artists interpret the theme and put it on canvas, they make matching tees and usually showcase at Bread and Butter, then tour Europe with it. This was the first time showing it stateside and it was dope, but they definitely didn’t show it like they could have, they had a smaller space and less room to really build it out.
Michelle, my wife came out to help, she held it down, such a big help! It was her first show so she loved watching how it all goes down and she saw some Flavor of Love girls, Big Black and crew, Mos Def freestyle, so she has some things to talk with her homegirls about.
Roland, the handsome beaver, modeling the Official X Aimecube X Double Goose X JB Classics hat. He totally thought he was at a European show, showing up at 10 AM and smoking all day in the booth.
Vincent from VS Social.
Swanski is in green and he was part of the Untitled exhibit and showing his brand Turbokolor, really thoughtful, artistic pieces, him and Jakub from Root Size are from Poland. He was rocking the fanny pack hard!
Foreign Fam, Roland, and Dave from Untitled/Streetwear today.
This is Steele, our Australian distributor. It was the first time I had met him face to face, Jason has met him a lot, every time I was like, “It was good talking to you” or “It was nice to meet you” he would be like “It was nice to be talked to” and “It was nice to be met.” I stole his lines, you might hear me saying that soon, so tight.
Steele at night.
The view from The Hotel at the top of Mandalay Bay, Alex from Elm Company and Justin from Empire were getting mystic on the view.
Great show, great times, great friends! Until the next one!
